Itinerary - Copper Canyon & Golden Beaches
DAY 1 - Departure from Vancouver
Departure from Vancouver on your overnight flight to Mexico City. Arrival the next morning.
DAY 2 - Mexico City
Arrival to Mexico City, rest of the day free to explore Mexico city at your own leisure.
DAY 3 - Chihuahua
Arrive to Chihuahua's airport and transfer to the hotel, after check-in city tour of Chihuahua visiting the cathedral, the old state capitol, the former house of Pancho Villa or revolution museum, the regional museum and the colonial aqueduct. We recommend to visit a good steak restaurant for dinner.
DAY 4 - Chihuahua - Creel
Early transfer from the hotel to train station to board at 06:00 am the world famous Chihuahua al pacifico train to Creel a lumber town located in the pine forest, box lunch included, arrive at 11:30 a.m. transfer to your hotel, after check in tour of Creel visiting the Arareco lake, San Ignacio mission and tarahumara Indian caves. (Breakfast)
DAY 5 - Creel - Barrancas
Breakfast. Free morning to walk in town, take a tour or relax at your hotel. At 11:30 am train to copper canyon. Arrive to Divisadero station at 12:45 pm. after check in walking tour to spectacular views of the copper canyon and get touch with the friendly tarahumara Indians one of the most primitives tribes in Mexico. Homemade style dinner included. (Breakfast and Dinner)
DAY 6 - Barrancas - Bahuichivo
Breakfast. Free morning to walk in town, take a tour or relax at your hotel. At 11:30 am train to copper canyon. Arrive to Divisadero station at 12:45 pm. after check in walking tour to spectacular views of the copper canyon and get touch with the friendly tarahumara indians, one of the most primitives tribes in Mexico. Homemade style dinner included. (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner)
DAY 7 - Bahuichivo-Los Mochis
Breakfast, tour to Urique canyon, lunch. at 14:30 pm transfer to Bahuichivo to board train to Los Mochis, arrive at 20:50 pm. Transfer to your hotel. (Breakfast and Lunch)
DAY 8 - Los Mochis
Your train adventure ends in Los Mochis. We transfer you to the port of Topolobampo or to Los Mochis Airport for you trip back home or as an option to continue your vacations in one of our Golden Beaches in Mazatlan, La Paz, Cabo San Lucas or San Jose del Cabo.
